An excellent editor creates a close collaboration, with you, the writer.

My client communication is outstanding. Writers I work with consistently comment on my thorough attention to detail and high quality of editing. I provide ongoing updates, consultation and support throughout the editing process. I am extremely motivated, with an exceptional commitment to each author and have the ability to meet deadlines. I am always passionate about, and completely committed to, any editing that I undertake. I focus solely on one edit at a time; providing you the writer with an exclusive, highly personal service.

My extensive teaching career as an English teacher, award-winning teacher librarian, and as a published writer, means that I am particularly adept and editing and proofreading. As a freelance editor, I have edited a wide range of novels, memoirs, autobiographies and non-fiction, including for published authors. I provide editorial support for authors preparing manuscripts for submission to literary agents and publishers.

Author of the memoir series about renovating an old farmhouse in France:
“Our House is Not in Paris”
“Our House is Certainly Not in Paris”
“Our House is Definitely Not in Paris”
(Melbourne Books)

My special interests include reading, writing, renovating, travel and French films.
